Freeze panes in the spreadsheet

Freezing panes locks certain cells in place while allowing other cells to be scrolled through, allowing you to view and edit large amounts of data while keeping the titles on the screen.

  1. Select a cell and then go to View > Freeze Panes and choose an option in the dropdown menu.

For example: Select the cell below the rows and to the right of the columns you want to keep visible when you scroll, and choose Freeze Panes. The faint red line that appears shows that the rows or columns are frozen above it are frozen.
