Sorting your spreadsheet data

You can line up multiple data in a specific order with Sort. You can sort data in ascending or descending order.


To sort data

  1. Select the data range you want to sort on a worksheet.
  2. Click Data > Sort.
  3. In the Sort dialog box, set Sort Order as Top to Bottom.
  4. Select Column A > Ascending as Standard1.
  5. Check Use the First Column/Row as a Heading and click Run.
  6. Data in the selected range will be sorted by the sort criteria.
