Remove duplicate values in spreadsheet range

Remove duplicated data within the selected range. The values in the adjacent cells of deleted cells are shifted up to fill the empty cells.


To remove duplicate values

  1. Select a range of cells and then click Data > Remove Duplicates.
  2. Select the check box of the Select All in Item Selection and click the OK button in the Remove Duplicates dialog.

   The Remove Duplicates menu is available when at least one or more columns that contain duplicate values are selected.
