Adding a screenshot to the presentation

Screenshots are useful for capturing contents that might change or expire. You can easily capture the application in background and insert the screenshot to your document without leaving the program that you are working on.

You can capture the entire window on your screen or drag to select a partial of the window that you want to capture.

Steps

To add the entire window

  1. Click Insert > Picture > Screenshot.
  2. Select a thumbnail image of available windows and click Insert. All open windows are displayed as thumbnail images on the list.
  3. The selected picture is inserted into the document. You can resize the screenshot by dragging the mouse pointer over the control points on picture borders.

To add part of the window

  1. Click Insert > Picture > Screenshot.
  2. Click Capture and drag your mouse to select an area to capture.
  3. Your selection is inserted into the document. You can resize the screenshot by dragging the mouse pointer over the control points on picture borders.

Screen Clipping

The mouse pointer changes to a crosshair so that you can capture the screen by dragging your mouse. You can select a part of the screen that you want to capture while holding down the left mouse button.

Notes

Only one screenshot at a time can be added. To add multiple screenshots, repeat steps 1 and 2 above.
