In the Hotkey tab, you can check the hotkeys currently assigned to all commands or specify new ones. You can also create a set of hotkeys to use just the hotkeys you want.
Steps
To configure shortcuts
- Click File > Customize.
- From the Customize dialog box, select the Hotkey tab.
- Select a command for which you want to assign a shortcut in the Select Command area. If a shortcut key is already specified, it will be displayed in the Current Shortcut area.
- Place the cursor in the New Shortcut field and press CTRL or ALT with the keys you want to use as shortcuts.
- Make sure that the shortcut key combination you entered is assigned to another command or item under Set Command. For example, entering CTRL+C in the New Shortcut field shows what the existing command is.
- If a shortcut key is already specified, enter another shortcut combination.
- Click the Add icon (
).
- To save the changes, click Set.
To delete an assigned shortcut
- Click File > Customize.
- From the Customize dialog box, select the Hotkey tab.
- Select a command for which you want to delete the shortcut in the Select Command area.
- Select the key combination you want to delete under Current Shortcut.
- Click the Delete icon (
).
- To save the changes, click Set.
